Overview

DNA Reference Lab, Inc. is a private corporation established in November of 1997 to pioneer the build-up of a complete DNA testing facility. The Laboratory is designed to utilize cutting-edge technologies in order to provide our medical, forensic, and general community with the latest and the most cost-effective methods in DNA testing. We offer services in the following disciplines:
  • Complete testing to establish legal custody of a child; resolve issues of child support, legal custody, adoption, and immigration; and to reconstruct family genetic relationships.
  • Forensic testing to obtain or confirm scientific evidence that is usable in our court system.
  • Sequence analysis of mitochondrial DNA structure and Y-chromosome analysis for investigative work in criminal cases and clinical disorders.
  • Testing for infectious agents where DNA testing has a proven superiority in terms of speed, specificity and reliability over traditional methods. Our testing procedures are focused on direct measurements of viral loads and viral genotyping.
  • High resolution HLA testing to match donors with potential recipients of solid organs and bone marrow transplants.
  • SNP/STR/micro array/sequence analysis to screen and test for genes involved in cancer and genetic diseases.

Stream-lined Departments in the Laboratory
1. Paternity Testing
2. Forensic Testing
3. Infectious Diseases
4. Molecular Pathology (HLA typing, genetic diseases and cancer)

DNA Reference Lab Guarantees the Following:

• Never to falsely exclude a real father. Most labs accept 99% probability for establishing paternity. This means 1 in 100 random unrelated males could be the father. We require at minimum 99.96% probability to establish paternity. This will dramatically reduce our error in establishing paternity
• We require a combined paternity Index of 25x greater than AABB recommended number of 100.
• The probability of excluding a non-biological father is always 100%
• 100% assured confidentiality
• A chain of custody process that exceeds court requirements
• The highest level of scientific integrity and technical capability.
• The best and honest customer service possible within the industry.
